This was my second time to engage with Christine as my Buyer's agent. Expertise in the community, location, and multiple thorough walk-thru's/showings to identify problems prior to purchase was essential to influence the offer and enter into a purchasing contract for the new home. Due to long personal working hours, most of the communications occurred after hours and on the weekend. Christine was quick to respond the same day. Communications throughout contracting to closing were very clear. Due to faults found during the home inspection, it was necessary to add addendum for the seller's to complete and a re-inspection to verify the faults were fixed prior to purchase. There were many examples of ethics as our buyer's agent where Christine stepped up to include addendums for the sellers to fix items before moving to purchase. She was cognizant that we have small children and moving is hard on them too! Our home purchase was complicated with a septic failure that the sellers had to fix - Christine was extremely knowledgeable about the work and the county requirements. We somehow had the good fortune of coming into contact with Christine Duvall early on in our search for a new house. Not being from the area and having been out of the country for over 20 years I had no idea where to start. To make matters worse, I was only able to visit the area for one day, so it was very important to prioritize and streamline our itinerary. Finding Christine was like striking gold, she immediately understood what I was looking for and began providing perspective properties before we even met. I knew I had the right realtor when I woke to an email sent at 0540 on that one day adding final tweaks to our plan. As our property search progressed Christine continued to refine the focus of our search based on my feedback, at this point her skill as a realtor really came to bear, she eliminated all the static in a very busy market allowing us to concentrate on just the properties that she knew met our budget, space needs and that we could truly call a home. She was the driving force in changing our house hunt into a search for a home.
